Facebook updated news feed focused more on quality content than memes.

Facebook News feed now will display quality content higher in the news feed. Recently, Facebook survey was held and was observed that people have a preference to read and view the quality higher. In facebook survey it was also observed that people visited Facebook to stay updated with the lates news, current events, their favorite artists etc. So, now the social networking site will be more focused on quality content instead the latest meme shared.      

       It means that posts with higher quality images & content will now be having more visibility in News Feed as compared to meme photos. The update will also bring the posts to the top of the newsfeed which has more interactions on the post like (Likes, Comments, Shares).
